NSW - Tamworth Pride - Uralla

This September we are headed back to Uralla! After such a successful inaugural Pride Outreach Lunch at this venue we couldn't go past repeating it especially as the food and atmosphere was so good!

We had 30 people at our last lunch at this venue and we hope to top that this time!

We love getting out into the wider communities and bringing people together. The connection these events create allow our community to grow and for us to build relationships with people who may struggle for support in smaller towns.

We'd love to see as many of you there as possible!

SA - The Boy From Oz
Oct

to 19 Oct

SA - The Boy From Oz

The Boy From Oz is the most successful Australian musical ever and the first to make it to Broadway.  It is a musical biography/tribute to the late, great Peter Allen.  Peter Allen was born in the outback Australian town of Tenterfield in 1944.  He made his entertainment debut at the age of 5 impersonating Al Jolson.  As a teenager he became a pop star and then toured Asia.  There he met Judy Garland who took him to London where he met and became engaged to her daughter Liza Minnelli.  In the US Peter enjoyed the heights of success by winning an Oscar, selling out performances in Radio City Music Call and receiving adulation when he returned to Australia.  There were also plenty of lows… breaking up with his wife, staging a Broadway flop, the death of his partner and his own battle with illness.  Peter Allen had an extraordinary life which producer Ben Gannon realised had the potential to become a magnificent musical and, with Robert Fox, they turned it into the smash hit it became.

Tech Talk Tuesday

Sometimes, online criminals use manipulative methods to gain access to a person’s private information. Instead of guessing your password or attempting to steal your account information, they use sneaky techniques like trying to get emotionally close to you or impersonating one of your friends on social media. The scammer may end up soliciting money from you, accessing your personal data or installing malware on your devices.
